The Salzman Medical Group is a community-based medical practice functioning to help patients receive high-quality medical care at an affordable price. Gary Salzman D.O. is a board certified family practitioner. He has been practicing for over 25 years in Philadelphia, and specializes in the care of children and adults. Dr. Salzman is the medical director of the Salzman Medical Group and the founder and CEO of Family Medical Management
Carol Henderson is an Osteopathic physician who has been practicing Family medicine for the past 30 years. She practiced as a registered nurse before going to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and acheiving her degree as a doctor.
Angela Angles MD, PA-C is a bilingual Spanish-speaking practitioner who received her medical degree in 1989 and now practices primary care medicine as a physician assistant. Special interest in pediatrics.
Svetlana De John M.D., PA-C is a bilingual Russian-speaking practitioner who received her medical doctorate degree from Kazam Medical School in Moscow. Special interest in female gynecological diseases.
Akkaraju Sarma M.D., is a bilingual Hindi-speaking practitioner who has practiced family medicine in Philadelphia for the past 35 years.

School physicals / Sports physicals
Do you play basketball, football, baseball, soccer, track, field hockey, lacrosse, or other high school or college sport? If so, chances are you’ll need a sports physical in order to compete.
Work physicals
If you work in a nursing home, restaurant, or a business that works around and comes in contact with patients you’ll need a work physical to show that you’re free of infectious disease. (MA LPN’s, medical assistants, etc).
DOT physicals
Commercial: We provide truck driver physicals and recertification exams for Penn DOT.
School Bus Drivers: We also provide physicals for school bus drivers.
Driver's license physicals
Drivers license physicals for first-time drivers and suspensions. A driver’s license physical is required in order to get your permit once you turn 16 or to begin legally driving.
ACT-235 physicals
ACT-235 physicals are for security guards who will be taking the Pennsylvania training for security. This is needed for anyone who is going receive their ACT-235 certificate.
Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
We give medical clearance to leave work, clearance to go to work, and document time off.
